QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate
issued by the
Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with
an endorsement as an
elementary principal. Experience as an
elementary teacher and as an
elementary principal is desired.
Candidates should have: the commitment and skills needed to
be an effective instructional leader, a commitment to student
learning and academic excellence, the ability to work and build
strong relationships with both school and parent organizations to
lead instructional and curricular decisions for all students, an
ability to analyze data to make systemic and programmatic
changes, knowledge of K-6 students and curriculum, knowledge of
special education programs and regulations, excellent verbal and
written communication skills, and knowledge of technology and its
applications to educational settings.
NOTES:
Indian Paintbrush Elementary School has grades K-6 with an
enrollment of approximately 335 students and an active and
involved parent organization. Indian Paintbrush has an
elementary life skills program.
