Qualifications: 1. Graduate of certified school of nursing 2. Licensed by the State of Michigan as an LPN 3. Demonstrated competencies in areas of interpersonal relationships, communication and organization Performance Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the assessment and evaluation of the health status 2. Assist with vision, hearing and dental screenings 3. Assist with the administration of medications and treatments
4. Provide routine first aid and emergency care for illness/injuries 5. Assist with implementation of policies and procedures for communicable disease, immunizations and other health related matters 6. Assist with health education curriculum and district/staff and parent in-service programs 7. Maintain effective communication and cooperative relationships with students, parents, staff and administrators 8. Assist with maintaining accurate and timely records 9. Maintain loyalty to students, staff and community and observe professional ethics 10. Comply with school district policies and procedures 11. Effectively participate in meetings, committees, staffing and other required district and building activities 12. Responsible for carrying out assignments as delegated, including student supervision 13. Other duties as assigned Reports to: Principal of Blossomland Learning Center
