SUMMARY:
Community Unit School District 200 is seeking a Speech
Language Pathologist who will provide prevention, assessment, and
remediation services for students who exhibit difficulties in the
areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency. These
services are designed to help children meet their educational
goals.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT(S):
Masters Degree in an ASHA accredited program; AND
Current State of Illinois School Service Personnel Certificate
(Type 73)
OR
Current State of Illinois Special Education Certificate (Type
10) with Speech/Language Endorsement
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Excellent assessment skills, required
Excellent communication skills, required
Bilingual in Spanish, desirable
Knowledge of Special Education desirable
Expertise in AAC devices, desirable
