DESCRIPTION:Intermediate District 287 is seeking qualified candidates for a Special Education Instructor position for the FOCUS program located at South Education Center. This position is accountable for providing instruction and other educational supports to special needs students and assisting them in their academic and social development.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in special education and a current ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)licensure. Also prefer an EBD licensure issued by the Minnesota Department of Education. Experience working with secondary or transition students with Autism and mental health disorders in a Setting IV program is preferred.
