Work Week: 40 Hours per week POSITION DESCRIPTION: Intermediate District 287 is seeking qualified candidates for an Elementary/Special Education Instructor position for a Care and Treatment program located at Prairie Care. This position is accountable for facilitating learning, academic achievement and personal development by providing instruction to students. Develops and implements curriculum and lesson plans. Utilizes technology to facilitate learning. Understands the varying learning styles and the needs of a diverse student population. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and a SLD or EBD licensure issued by the Minnesota Department of Education. Experience working with youth in an alternative setting is preferred.
