Qualifications:
State of MI teacher certificate with an endorsement in special education
Must meet NCLB and Highly Qualified certification requirements
Learning Disabilities Endorsement preferred
Have the ability to work positively with students, teachers and parents
Excellent communication skills
Experience with middle school students preferred
Ability to facilitate an IEP and complete necessary paperwork
Willingness to work as part of a team of professionals
Possess an understanding of the state and federal special education rules and regulations
Experience with Capturing Kids' Hearts preferred
