Qualifications:
Must possess State of Michigan Certification
Have the ability to work positively with students, teachers
and parents
Possess leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with students of various ages and
disabilities in a school
Have the experience and the skills to:

Provide consultation services to staff, parents and appropriate
agencies
-
Chair and assist in formulating interventions and recommendations
for student success in IEP and Child Study
meetings

Administer, analyze and interpret appropriate tests of
intelligence, achievement and perceptual-motor ability
to
students referred for psychological testing
-
Assist in the Response to Intervention process
-
Assess and provide consultation and direct services for students
with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Possess an understanding of the state and federal special
education rules and regulations
Experience with Capturing Kids' Hearts preferred
