QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate
issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with
endorsements in Social Studies, preferably Social Studies
Comprehensive or World Geography and World History and be "highly
qualified" under NCLB. Other desired qualifications
include: Experience working with high school students;
ability to differentiate instruction to meet the wide variety of
student abilities and needs; ability to implement RTI and PBIS
concepts; strong classroom management skills; ability to be able
to work with all grade-levels 9-12; commitment to teach to the
established standards and benchmarks to ensure student
achievement; good communication skills; willingness to assist the
school by serving on school and district committees; willingness
to be a team player; and the desire to continue to grow
professionally to better be able to educate our students.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidates will deliver instruction in Social
Studies to students in grades 9-12 preferably in the areas
of World Geography and World History.
