POSITION TITLE:

Quiet RoomMonitor

HOURS:

6 hours per day

5 days per week

10 months

SALARY:

Class III, starting a $11.80 per hour

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

High school diploma and 2 years post-high secondary training.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience working with special needs children in an educational setting preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in implementation of assigned tasks including instruction and assisting students academically.

Monitor student's skills of independence and implementation of classroom or individual behavior management programs.

Assist with daily living activities.

 Communicate student's progress with case managers.

Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Must have ability to push/pull equipment including standers, wheelchairs, etc.

Must have ability to repetitively reach overhead.

Must have ability to repetitively transfer to /from the floor.

 Must have ability to kneel.
