The Harrisburg School District will be offering our students two Summer School sessions between June 18, 2012 to July 24, 2012.
The first Summer Session will be held from June 18 to July 3, and the second Summer Session will be held from July 9 to July 24. Both sessions will be Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a half hour lunch break. There will be a total of ten instructional days at 6 hours per day for a total of 60 hours, for each session.
The following certified staff is needed:
- Mathematics - multiple areas
- English - multiple areas
- Social Studies - multiple areas
- Science - multiple areas
- Physical Education
- Senior Project
All applicants must possess a valid PA teaching certificate; ability to be actively involved with parents by establishing rapport via phone calls, and progress monitoring regarding students’ academics; excellent oral and written communication skills; and the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
