This position will teach middle school language arts and social studies using a thematic approach.
Required: Highly qualified in middle school social studies and middle school language arts or social studies and language arts.Preferred: Type A teaching certificate in social studies or language arts with the appropriate grade level.
Watershed philosophy: The teacher uses local culture, history, economics, and the natural environment as a theme from which to teach all content areas.
