Qualifications:

 

Required: 

  • Valid Colorado Teaching License or eligible for Colorado Teaching License
  • Elementary Education Endorsement

Preferred:
  • Exemplary classroom management and training and/or experience with PBIS
  • Demonstrated positive experience with Junior Great Books
  • Positive experience with cooperative learning
  • Experience with the PLC process
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with numerous members of the school community
  • Wide variety of writing training (ex. Writing Alive, Step Up, 6+ Trait)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to use data to drive instruction and establish and implement student IEP's
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the RtI process
  • Ability to create positive meaningful professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction for a variety of different learners
  • Exemplary technology integration and management skills to include but not limited to IC, Galileo, Microsoft Office, Web Quests, Google Applications, School Fusion, Survey Monkey
