The Council Bluffs Community School District is seeking applicants for the following position for the 2012-2013 school year:
GRADE 3 TEACHER
FRANKLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Valid Iowa Elementary K-6 Teacher License
CHARACTERISTICS DESIRED:

· Is aware of students abilities, and adjusts curriculum and grouping to meet their needs

· Is organized, well-planned and prepared daily
· Promotes open communication and involvement with parents
· Has strong interpersonal skills
· Is open to professional growth and development
· Visual and auditory acuity and mobility to move about the building
· Desire to work cooperatively with other staff members in a team setting
· Ability to apply skills learned in professional development
· Knowledge and application of research-based best practice skills
· Experience in leadership committees/teams to improve student achievement
· Ability to use data to plan and implement instruction for diverse learners
- Experience working with a diverse student population
