Qualifications:
1.
Valid and appropriate elementary teaching
certificate/license from the State of Ohio.
2.
Must meet HQT requirements.
3.
Recent teaching experience in a general
education classroom at the elementary grade level preferred.
Math and Language Arts certification required.
4.
Knowledge of PRAXIS/Pathwise domains for
effective teaching.
5.
Knowledge of academic content standards
and learner outcomes associated with the Ohio Achievement
Assessments.
6.
Ability to promote student achievement in
reading and writing by incorporating a comprehensive literacy
approach.
7.
Knowledge of best practices in math
instruction
8.
Knowledge of how to integrate technology
into the curriculum.
9.
Willingness to meet the needs of all
students (e.g. at-risk, high achieving, special
education).
10.
Ability to communicate with students,
parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.
11.
Willingness to work in school sponsored
and school related activities.
