JOB
TITLE:
ROYAL OAK HIGH SCHOOL
Freshman Volleyball Coach
(Position suggested start date: August 10, 2012)
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
Minimum, HS Diploma or equivalent
2.
Strong knowledge of the rules, regulations and
fundamentals of the sport of Volleyball
3.
High School coaching experience preferred
4.
Experience working with high school age
students preferred
5.
Outstanding organizational and communication
stills
6.
Demonstrated ability to work well with
others including administration, coaches, teachers and
parents
7.
Ability to carry out the rules of both the
MHSAA and Royal Oak School District
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Organize and plan regular season practices
and training
2.
Instruct students on the skills and rules of the
game of
volleyball
3.
Teaching students the importance of team
work
4.
Foster positive relationships with parents and
community members
5.
Game days must be available until the completion
of all activities
6.
Assist the varsity coach in assigned duties
7.
Maintain inventory and care for team uniforms and
equipment
8.
Other duties as assigned by the head coach and
Athletic Director
SALARY:
Appropriate placement on ROEA Supplemental Schedule B
