The School District of University City seeks an outstanding social work professional to join our District family. The successful candidate will be part of a high-energy team dedicated to continuous support for the needs of our students.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work; Experience working in a public school environment, preferred. The successful candidate will have clinical experience and will be able to build strong and positive relationships with students, families and the community. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and will be able to assess situations and advocate on behalf of students and families. This individual will be approachable, have cultural sensitivity and experience working with at-risk students.
Compensation: The School District of University City offers a competitive salary in the range of $30,000 - $40,000 for full-time employment, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as sick and personal leave for all full-time employees. This is an exempt, nine-month position with a start date of August 14, 2012.
