The
GuilfordPublicSchool district seeks to hire a qualified
individual to manage all food service activities.
District
Description
There are
seven schools in the Guilford Public School district:
Guilford High School (grades 9-12), Dr. Elisabeth C. Adams Middle
School (grades 7-8), Abraham Baldwin Middle School (grades 5-6),
and four elementary schools (grades K-4) - A.W. Cox, Calvin
Leete, Guilford Lakes (includes PreK) and Melissa Jones.
The

Qualifications
The
successful candidate for this position should have:
· Three to five
years of experience as a Food Service Director in a multi-school
district or comparable setting.
· The ability to
implement creative marketing concepts in the schools and develop
a plan that promotes the school nutrition services to students,
parents, staff and the community.
· A Bachelor's
degree in Food Service Management, Dietary Science or other
related field is preferred. Extensive food service
managerial experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's
degree.
· Certification
and/or credentialed with School Nutrition Association is
recommended but not required.
· Demonstrated
ability to work as an effective leader.
The successful candidate will be offered a salary in the
range of $55,000 to $60,000. Position is 200 days (school
year plus 10 days prior to the start of school and 10 days after
the close of school).
