Job Summary: Full Time Speech Language Pathologist 2012-2013 school year
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher
- Certificate of Clinical Competency
- Experience working with primary aged students
- Knowledge of and ability to apply developmentally appropriate best practices for primary aged students
- Practical knowledge of current assessment techniques
- Ability to establish, maintain, and promote a classroom environment conducive to learning
- Ability to plan and work collaboratively with peers
- Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to participate on school committees for the general improvement curriculum and instruction
- Demonstration of a personal commitment to teacher collaboration and continuous professional growth
- Knowledge of and ability to treat various disorders
Working Conditions:
Individuals applying must possess valid Illinois teaching certification
