Description: Provides assessment and case management for students suspected of having a special education category of disability. Also responsible for IEP Re-evaluations, early admission testing, and initial Section 504 evaluations. KUSD School Psychologists also provide key leadership to Building - level Student Intervention Teams, and routinely conduct In-Service activities on Response to Intervention techniques, special education practices and procedures, behavioral management plans, etc. Keenly developed organizational and communications skills, experience in urban environments, proficiency in RTI, and behavioral intervention expertise required as well.
