Job Goal
To supervise and provide assistant in the use of the Media Center's
Technology lab.
Performance
Responsibilities
Supervision of the Media Center Technology
lab
1.
Provides
supervision of the Media Center Technology lab including monitoring of the
Internet use.
2.
Assists
students in the use of computer equipment and the selection of software.
3.
Assists
students in the selection of research material on CD or Internet.
4.
Schedules
facilities use of media center lab.
5.
Assists
teachers in the instruction process as needed.
Provides relief supervision of the Media Center
1.
Provides
supervision of the Media Center.
2.
Assists
students in the use of library tools.
3.
Assists
students in the selection of research material.
4.
Checks
in/out books and other material.
Provides support for classroom teacher and staff
1.
Maintains
Mac School Report card information and prints Report Card related information
(at the K-5 schools).
2.
Maintains
the student list in the At Ease (Mac Manager) computer system.
3.
Maintains
student lists in programs such as Accelerated Reader.
4.
Refers
teacher and staff technology problems to the help desk.
5.
Refers
unsolved problems to the Director of Technology.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Terms of
Employment
9 Months,
Part-time, 7 hrs per day, 5 days per week
Starting
Salary: $9.10 - $9.47 per hour
depending on experience
Salary as
established by the Governing Board.
