Please be informed of the availability of the following position in the Faribault Public Schools: Job Title: MIDDLE/SENIOR LEVEL EBD TEACHER – ALTERNATIVE LEARNING CENTER Job Description: Full-time (1.0 FTE) EBD Teacher at Faribault Alternative Learning Center (FALC). This position commences with the 2012-13 school year on August 27, 2012.
Qualifications: Experience working with High School aged EBD students; knowledge of due process forms and procedures required; knowledge of MN EBD criteria and the evaluation process including Functional Behavior Assessments; understanding the use of Positive Behavior Supports; knowledge of how to write a Behavior Intervention Plan; ability to work with a team; training or willingness to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI); and excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly qualified in Math, Reading and English preferred
