The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for one (1) Special Education Tutor for the 2012-2013 school year: CERTIFICATION: Intervention Specialist K-12 or Education of the Handicapped K-12 - Elementary experience preferred QUALIFICATIONS: Current/Valid ODE Teacher Certification/Licensure Knowledge of ODE Standards and Model Courses of Study Collaborate with classroom teachers and support personnel to maintain consistency with student interventions Develop and administer remediation program Administer curriculum-based and standardized assessments to determine student progress and effectiveness of intervention strategies Able to use current technology, including computers SALARY: Per proper placement on Tutor Pay Scale (hourly rate) - 7.5 hours per day
