Join our Community Education Tiny Tots Preschool and Early Childhood Family Education programs as a teaching associate. Two part time positions are available for fall, 2012. Hours vary according to program needs. Salary and employment status is determined by the Community Education Employment Policy.
This position supports the learning and growth of children ages 3-5 years old in a half day preschool program or children birth to 5 years old in the ECFE program by assisting the Early Childhood Teacher with the planning and set up of the physical environment and with the implementation of the planned curriculum. Responsibilities include demonstrating positive adult-child interactions, providing a stimulating, safe and secure environment for children to explore and learn, assisting with general housekeeping tasks and participating in program and community events.
