Bus Mechanic - Transportation Department

One position based upon District needs

 

Working Days:  260 Day Contract for a minimum of 4 hours per day – Monday through Friday pursuant to school calendar.  Additional hours may be earned via district need.

Qualifications:  Candidates must have a valid CDL.   Knowledge and experience working with school busses, diesel engines, heavy duty trucks, and air brakes required.  Basic knowledge of 12V DC electrical systems, vehicle painting, body work and computer knowledge for vehicle diagnostics also required.   Other preferred qualifications include being a self-starter with little supervision.

 

Salary:  The salary shall be hourly and based upon the most recently established salary schedule provided via the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Perry Board of Education and OAPSE Local #367 minimum of $17.10 and a maximum of $27.76 per hour.
