Salary Range: $18,016 - $25,349
This position requires knowledge of programming/IEPs for 10 to 12 students with more severe disabilities such as those in wheelchairs and with medical conditions. This teacher supervises several paras and plans schedules accordingly. Must be able to develop a working relationship with staff, parents and community partners for the best outcomes for students. Must be able to use technology for instruction and developing IEP's, collect and evaluate data and monitor student progress. Must be willing to do "whatever it takes" to build a community of learners and work as a team member with other special educators and specialists.
Qualifications: Montana teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement, or ability to be certified by the start of the 2012-2013 school year.
