ADMINISTRATIVE OPENING FOR 2012-2013
The Lexington Public Schools is seeking an outstanding educator with a proven record of success in an educational leadership role to serve as the Associate Principal of Lexington High School beginning July 1, 2012.
Lexington High School educates a diverse population of 1951 students in grades 9 -12 and employs 215 professional staff members. The Associate Principal will have the opportunity to work in an outstanding school district with highly educated staff members in a very supportive community.
Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on collaborative and distributive leadership, and a strong background in evaluation and supervision. The candidate must have the ability to work with the needs of multiple constituencies, develop clear action plans to meet school and district goals, assist with instructional technology, oversee facilities management and budget, and support a culture of continuous growth for students and faculty. This is a 12-month position with a current salary range from $97,895 to $113,338.
Master’s Degree and Principal/Assistant Principal (9-12) license are required.
