Flushing Community Schools is accepting applications for the following positions:

Central Elementary

Computer Lab Manager

Qualifications:  

              -         Associates Degree in computer technology or related field preferred.

              -         Working knowledge of computer networks and technology.

              -         Able to troubleshoot minor hardware and software problems.

              -         Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with teaching staff and students.

Job Description:

              -         Oversee the operation of the student computer laboratory at Central Elementary .

              -         Work with students and staff in the use of computers and software in the lab environment.

              -         Train other personnel.

              -         Print and distribute to teachers, individuals and groups reports regarding student progress.

              -         Maintain an attractive, orderly learning environment.

              -         Work under the direction of building principal.

              -         Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Salary:              $13.81  per hour

Hours:               20 hours computer lab/ 5 hours I.T. work.

                         Sunrise and Sunset after school program for up to 6 hours per week. (Approx. Oct. through April)

                        Zon Program Facilitator - 2 hours/week (Approx. Oct through May)

Work Year:         Forty (40) to forty two (42) weeks per year.
