EASTCONN is seeking to fill the position of Web Applications Developer to develop data driven web applications. The successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment and be responsible for application development, end user support, database administration and training on web/database applications.

 Full Time position available at our at Hampton facility. Some travel required.

 Responsibilities Include:

·         Planning, designing and implementing  complex web applications 

·         Managing, updating and supporting  those same applications 

·         Designing, coding, and testing DB solutions

·         Gather, refine and translate business requirements into technical specifications 

·         Collaborate with other team members on the development of applications and systems sometimes in other locations.

·         Managing and administering SQL, MySQL, databases 

·         Writing and maintaining user documentation 

·         Assisting in efforts to establish new project activities and identify potential customers

Qualifications

·         BS or equivalent.

·         5 years+ experience in web/database application development.

·         Required skills, PHP, MySQL, CSS, XHTML, AJAX, LAMP, and JavaScript.

·         Experience with database applications required.

·         Knowledge of ZEND, MVC, Subversion, JQUERY, .NET, JAVA is a plus.
