This position is responsible for instructing severely emotionally disturbed children in areas of restoration, rehabilitation, and supporting the development and interpersonal skills for the purpose of community tenure, enhanced personal relationships, establishing support networks, increased community awareness, developing coping strategies and effective functioning in the child’s social environment including home and school. The individual will be responsible for collaborating with parent/guardians and mental health team to advise them of student’s progress. This position is responsible for leading class/group activities and conveying direction to other employees in the classroom.
