Description:
Reading/Language Arts/Math Tutor, 6.3 hours per day.
Bachelor's Degree required. Knowledgeable about current effective instructional strategies and experience working with middle school children, reading/math instruction and assessments required. The tutor should have a background in reading and language arts, experience or knowledge of English language learners and English as a second language. Must have a strong commitment to learning. Must have ability to work in collaboration with classroom teachers. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and enthusiasm for learning. Maintains appropriate student data and communicates with teachers. $20.06/hour (2012-13).
