Responsibilities:

This position is charged with empowering teachers to teach and leaders to lead using data, media and technology resources. This will be accomplished through:

  • Classroom support/coaching as teachers incorporate current and new data, media and technology resources into lessons;
  • Facilitation of workshops for staff (key leaders as well as teachers) on relevant and meaningful topics in data, media and technology resources; and
  • Empowering instructional and technology leaders to incorporate data, media and technology resources into school - from leadership to classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in education.
  • Minimum of five years teaching experience in K-12 environment.
  • Three years of experience providing staff (teacher and administration) coaching and training in the area of data, educational and media technology.
  • Demonstrated record of initiative, creativity and leadership in educational technology and using data to inform instruction.
  • Knowledge of state and national requirements for technology use in schools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor degree with emphasis on data analysis and inquiry tools.
  • Experience in supporting others in using Pinnacle Insight.
  • Considerable knowledge of adult learning styles, data analysis/warehousing, educational technology, and professional learning communities.
  • Experience in creating and facilitating online learning experiences using a learning management system such as Moodle or My Big Campus.
  • Educational Technology certificate.
