Work Week: 40 Hours per week DESCRIPTION:Intermediate District 287 is seeking qualified candidates for a Math Instructor position for the South Education Center Alternative program located at South Education Center. This class is accountable for facilitating learning, academic achievement and personal development by providing instruction to adolescents and adults. Develops and implements curriculum and lesson plans. Utilizes technology to facilitate learning. Understands the varying learning styles and the needs of a diverse student population. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a current teaching license in 5-12 math issued by the Minnesota Department of Education.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with youth in an alternative setting. Knowledge of formative assessment and differentiated instruction. Fluent in spanish.
