RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shares books with children
including storytelling and puppetry.
Assists children with independent
research.
Performs acquisitions and
mechanical preparation of materials.
Performs the daily
running of the library media center.
Maintain a positive and attractive
physical environment in the library media center.
Bookeeping of all library media
center accounts including placing requisitions and
yearly
inventory of print, non-print, and
audio-visual equipment.
Instructional duties include:
demonstrating, helping, training students and staff in the
use
o
f the automated library catalog;
instructing students in the proper use and care of
library
materials/equipment.
Attend staff development
workshops; and other
building duties as assigned by the
Principal.
