NOTICE OF INTENT TO EMPLOY
POSITION:
Director of Human Resources
·
Responsible for
coordination of all district personnel and human resource development matters,
including contract administration and negotiations and employee benefit
programs.
·
Communicates
regularly with constituent district leadership in the areas of budget, finance,
and other service matters.
·
Administers the
district’s automated substitute placement and attendance system, and electronic
fingerprinting system.
·
Administers the
district’s employee entitlement and other state and federally required
programs, i.e. workers compensation, FMLA, COBRA, sick leave, etc.
·
Administers and
determines new appropriate employee placement based on required criteria and
district policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
·
Minimum BA degree
in Business or Human Resources.
·
MA in Educational
Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field,
preferred.
·
Possess knowledge
and experience in school district management.
·
Knowledge and
experience in use of appropriate technology applications to support finance and
administrative services.
Minimum of three years of successful experience in school
human resources.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
TERMS: This is a full-time, year-round position with full benefits. This is a 50-week position, including 15 paid vacation days. The benefit package includes: 12 sick and 3 personal days, as well as full-family health (HSA), dental and optical insurance. There is a cash in-lieu-of health insurance option and a cafeteria benefit plan.
SALARY RANGE: The Board will offer a multi-year contract. The salary commensurate with experience and the requirements of the position.
