Description: High School Guidance Counselor: College Readiness
(Part-time)
Job Summary: Counsels individuals and groups of students in regards to college readiness. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Writing letters of recommendation for college applications; assisting applicants with college application process; attending state and national events promoting college readiness/admission; facilitating college admission events for students and parents; liaison to other school counselors; partnering with community resources to facilitate college and career readiness and job shadowing experiences.
Qualifications: Master's Degree; 3-5 years related experience and/or training preferred. Appropriate valid Illinois Type 73 Certificate for Guidance Counselor.
