PAY RATE:               TBD  (Will finalize rate of pay for 2012-2013 by July)

                                2011-2012 rate: $80.00/day

 

START DATE:              2012/2013 school year

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

Through job assignments, serves as Nurse in the absence of the regular school Nurse.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Moves freely from building to building to serve the needs of the district and its students by caring for the sick and injured in accordance with school policy and the accepted standards of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
  • Relates to students, parents and co-workers through effective communication.
  • Follows the directions of the absent School Nurse.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 5 days per semester.  Substitutes who do not sub a minimum of 5 days will be inactivated.
