Exploratory Class : To identify and strengthen academic goals and preparedness for entrance to a higher learning institution through basic practices of study skills, speech and presentation style.

 

Goals:

 

  • Understanding and sharing the significance of Explore and ACT testing
  • Focus on Study Skills, researching, presentation, and speech
  • College liaison for introduction into application processes, entrance questions, grants, scholarships, loans, references, and other resources
  • Stress importance of academics, extracurricular activities, leadership skills and attendance
  • Provide applications for local library card and introduce procedures for utilization of school and local libraries
