Qualifications
1. High
School Diploma or GED.
2. A
minimum of 5 years experience in volume food service operations preferred
including 1 year of supervisory experience.
3. Must
possess general clerical and bookkeeping skills.
4. Must
possess or be able to obtain County Manager Certification for food handler.
5. Must
be able to speak, read, and write in English.
6. Must
be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
7. A
working knowledge of regulations pertaining to school food service programs.
8. Some
knowledge of Arizona procurement policies.
9. Must
possess good customer relation skills.
10. Must
be multi-task oriented.
11. Such
alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and
acceptable.
Performance
Responsibilities
1. Directs,
assigns, and assists in evaluations of unit food service staff.
2. Assists
in establishing and enforcing work methods, sanitation, and health standards.
3. Responsible
for ordering food and supplies as needed for operation of food service program.
4. Becomes
thoroughly familiar with all position duties, equipment, and operations.
5. Makes
recommendations for changes in procedure to Food Service Supervisor/Director.
6. Assists
in training and evaluating of Food Service staff to ensure efficiency and
compliance with sanitary and health standards.
7. Prepares
all food items for daily service to students/staff.
8. Prepares
and maintains accurate records of all meal components prepared and served.
9. Attends
safety and manager meetings as required.
10. Preps
all food items and oversees service of all special meals.
11. Responsible
for checking quality, quantity, and accuracy of all deliveries.
12. Other
duties as may be assigned.
Terms of Employment
9 months, Full-time, 8 hrs per day, 5 days per week
Salary: $10.25 - $10.65 per hour depending on experience
Non-Exempt Position.
