Purpose

 

Demonstrate effective leadership skills that provide focus on student achievement through the use of RTI, PBIS and our SFA/RAMS programs. Guide the development of a collaborative community that includes all stakeholders in the school and community.

  1. Qualifications

    1. State Teaching Certificate

    2. Must have a Type 75 Administrative Degree

    3. Must have at least 5 years of administrative experience

    4. Passes required criminal background check

    5. Ability to coordinate initiatives in multiple sites

    6. Strong leadership skills in planning and implementing educational programs

    7. Strong knowledge base in understanding the components of RtI, PBIS, SFA and RAMS

    8. Strong knowledge base in understanding the developmental needs of students at all ages

    9. Excellent organizational and management skills

    10. Excellent written and oral communication skills

    11. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in supervision of others

    12. Experience with implementation of RtI, PBIS and Reading Comprehensive School Reform Models

    13. Working knowledge of SWIS and Star assessment

     

  2. Professional Goals

    1. Coordinate the RtI program in order to improve student achievement/behavior.

    2. Train, support, communicate with, and direct the SFA-RAMS/RtI coaches

    3. Work with administrator’s district- wide in the student achievement initiatives.

    4. Utilize the disaggregated data to assist and develop the needed trainings and programs district wide

 

   C.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Oversee district-wide implementation of RtI and PBIS programs

    2. Collaborate with the Director of Support Programs

    3. Collaborate with building administration

    4. Collaborate with District SFA Coordinator

    5. Lead the monthly RtI meetings with the Safety Facilitators and SFA/RAMS Coaches

    6. Participate in weekly RtI building meetings/intervention meetings

    7. Ongoing assistance of coaches in their building

    8. Conduct fidelity checks with RtI Coach to ensure implementation integrity and that ongoing data is being collected.

    9. Conduct walkthroughs for fidelity checks on BOK and interventions

    10. Monitor Scientifically Research Based interventions being used in each building.

    11. Monitor interventionists with interventions and paperwork to ensure integrity.

    12. Review RtI paperwork as it is generated in each building

    13. Attend PBIS Network meetings

    14. District External PBIS Coach

    15. Assist building teams in grouping students into tiers

    16. Provide Professional Development for RtI and PBIS

    17. Create a handbook of scientifically researched based programs we have available in reading, math, behaviors District-wide.

    18. Responsible for the District-wide SWIS/STI data submitted by the Safety Facilitators

    19. Attend/participate in all KEYS, AT and other administrative meetings.

    20. Responsible for creating the district-wide anti-bullying prevention program and hearing process.

    21. Conduct Bullying hearings at District level.

    22. Supervise the Safety Facilitators and SFA Coaches.

    23. Participate in the evaluation of the Safety Facilitators and SFA/RAMS Coaches.

    24. Travel to each building to perform the duties

    25. Analyze and interpret data

    26. Other duties as assigned by District Administration.

Terms of Contract

    1. 10 Month Full Time Position
