Hampstead Central School Kindergarten Paraeducator

 

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Word processing skills and knowledge of Internet resources
  • Must be able to work and plan independently with minimal supervision
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, fellow staff members, and administrators
  • Oral and written communication skills

Desirable Qualifications

  • Successful completion of two years of post-secondary training or an equivalent combination of experience and training 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or comparable program, PC and an I-pad in an educational setting
  • Possess Paraeducator I or II Certification
  • CPR
  • Experience with children and adolescents in an educational setting
