Description:
The Media/Attendance Paraprofessional is responsible to check out/in media materials, troubleshoot tier one technology issues for students, monitor/track student attendance, log entries in the CISD truancy database, and meet with students/employ strategies that will increase student attendance and success at the high school.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Meet the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) qualifications.
Experience working with high school aged students.
Basic computer literacy is required.
Organizational skills.
Basic library skills preferred.Strong interpersonal intervention skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with others in a positive, productive way.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and the community while projecting a positive image that enhances the school.
