Qualifications:
Primary responsibility is to provide individual, one-on-one assistance to a student.  As directed by the principal and classroom teacher, the teaching assistant will also: work with individual or small groups of students in an instructional capacity, supervise students during other activities such as lunch, and assist in completing necessary paperwork. Position requires knowledge of the Braille system or the willingness to learn. 
 

Salary:  

Range for 2012-2013 is $11.69 to $18.75 per hour
 
Workday:
Full time/10 month (185 days) position, 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday
