ESL School/Family Liaison 10 Month Secretary

Monday through Friday -7.5 hours per day

 

The ESL School/Family Liaison's major responsibilities are school and district translations, interpretation, and also are responsible for the ESL Parent Advisory Council Meetings with the English as a Second Language parents from across the district, as well as various office and educational duties.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Required (Spanish/English)
  • 2 years or more post-secondary education desired
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with parents, students, and teachers
  • Computer experience working with Word, Excel, and Pinnacle preferred
  • Ability to work with students from a diverse background
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Experience working in a team atmosphere
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have reliable transportation

Working Conditions:

Employee must be able to sit, stoop, bend, and walk as needed on a daily basis. While performing duties within this job, employee may be exposed to indoor and outdoor conditions and a noise level that can range from mild to loud.
