Qualifications:

 

Required:

  • Valid Colorado Teaching License or eligible for Colorado Teaching License
  • Secondary or K-12 Instructional Technology or Technology Endorsement

  • Career and Technical Education (CTE) Credential or willing to obtain

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of and experience with web design
  • Knowledge of and experience in digital media
  • Strong computer application skills
  • Previous teaching experience at the high school level
  • Strong computer knowledge and background
  • Strong understanding of and belief in "content standards" and their alignment to career and technical program students
  • Understanding of and ability to track integrated curriculum
  • Knowledge of and willingness to incorporate authentic assessments, team and interdisciplinary teaching, cooperative learning, and technology in the classroom
  • Previous experience and ability to work with multi-age grouping as well as developing Individualized Educational Plans
  • Previous experience with or coursework in multi-cultural awareness
  • Strong but dignified research based classroom management skills
  • Strong commitment to system change
  • Strong evidence of being a "team-player"
  • Knowledge and understanding of contextual learning strategies
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology integration
