Qualifications : Valid Illinois State Certificate: Type 03, Endorsement in Music; General music elementary teaching experience preferred; keyboard and vocal music ability; Master's degree preferred. Duties : The instructor will teach general music to students in grades five and six, implementing experiences which involve the concepts of singing, rhythm through movement, listening, reading music, playing instruments and developing creative responses. The teacher will be responsible for organizing musicals, directing choral groups, and evaluating progress in music education to the student and parents.
