Duties & Responsibilities:

New Hires: Entry Level Rate $9.69/hr; Current employees with
seniority in the bargaining uni; please refer to the Salary Schedule
established by the applicable bargaining unit.

Work with classroom teacher(s) to assist students with completion of
work
·
Serve as classroom assistant in other regular education classes as
needed
·
With classroom teacher, establish a positive learning environment
while maintaining a structured setting
·
Ability to model positive attitude and team cooperation for the
students
·
Assist with cafeteria, hallway and parking lot supervision
·
Personal qualities must include dependability and the ability to
accept responsibility and initiate student activities
·
Excellent attendance is required
·
Monitor Out-of-Class Intervention room and assist in attendance
office
·
Other duties as assigned by Principals or Supervising Teachers -
requires flexible attitude and willingness to work in a variety of settings
·
Follow district guidelines regarding appropriate dress and
confidentiality.
·
Computer skills are necesasry to imput data into student data system
and manipulate a spreadsheet. .
