School Food and
Nutrition Technician
3.5 Hours per Day
$9.34 per Hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for preparing food items.
Operates kitchen equipment and follows
safety and sanitation procedures to serve food.
QUALIFICATIONS

An equivalent
combination of education, training and experience will be
considered
·
Requires 0 to 2
years of job-related prior experience (Prefer more than 2
years)
·
High school
diploma or equivalent preferred
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS include the following:
·
Prepares hot
food including set-up, cooking and/or serving
·
Assembles and
serves cold food in correct portions
·
Reads and
follows recipes
·
Operates kitchen
equipment
·
Checks and
assures correct temperature of food, refrigerator and freezer
·
Cleans and
sanitizes kitchen facilities, equipment and dishes
·
Stocks and dates
food and supplies
·
Sets up,
maintains and breaks down food service lines
·
Serves food to
students and staff
·
Stores and
labels leftover food
·
Maintains
student meal accounts
·
Basic math
skills required
·
Ability to
maintain positive interpersonal relationships
·
Other duties may
be assigned
