Physics TEACHER – SPRING LAKE PARK SENIOR HIGH

START: 2012-2013 School Year
HOURS: .4 FTE
DUTIES: Candidate will be responsible for all assigned grade classroom duties and responsibilities, which will include: the implementation of curriculum, communicating with parents, managing the classroom, and working collaboratively with colleagues while functioning as a member of the High School staff and working towards school-wide goals.
PREFERENCES: Previous experience teaching Physics to students at the secondary level required, Must be well versed in current standards for Science at the Senior High level.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current Minnesota Teaching License in Physics, dual licensure in other areas preferred. Must be motivated, creative, student focused and organized. Must have the ability to be a team player with collaborative teaching skills. Position requires strong, positive communications skills and the ability to work well with Senior High students, parents, and other staff members.
