GENERAL DESCRIPTION
:
The Assistant Director of Curriculum & Assessment's purpose
is to provide support to the District for the full deployment
of the Curriculum Management Plan. The Assistant Director
will also assist the Director of Curriculum & Assessment in
providing leadership in curriculum, assessment, and college and
career readiness.

Monitoring the Curriculum &
Assessment department's performance measures related to
articulation and Career Technical CreditTransfer (CT
<SUP>2</SUP>
)
·
Supervising and evaluating
assessment and college and career readiness programs and
staff
·
Overseeing the coordination of
various assessments
·
Overseeing the coordination of
college and career readiness
·
Overseeing grants related to college
and career readiness
·
Creating opportunities for
articulation, dual, and concurrent enrollment
·
Communicating and coordinating
Tech Prep transition and credit growth opportunities
·
Coordinating, completing, and
submitting curricular program documentation
·
Providing information, training, and
other resources to school personnel regarding curricular
programming needs
·
Assisting building and district
administrators with curricular related programming needs
·
Maintaining, developing, and
improving all collaborative relationships and communication with
with associate schools, post-secondary institutions, and business
and industry partners
QUALIFICATIONS
:
·
Must hold Master's degree in
Curriculum, Education, or related field
·
Must hold administrative licensure
through the Ohio Department of Edudcation
·
Must possess curriculum design and
development experience
·
Supervisory or leadership experience
strongly preferred
·
Assessment design, development, and
implementation experience strongly preferred
·
Post- secondary teaching,
articulation, or related experience preferred
·
Career technical program experience
preferred
·
Career development knowledge and
experience preferred
·
Willingness/ability to work with
students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders as a team
member
·
Computer expertise appropriate to
the position
·
Good organization skills
·
State-issued driver's license or
State-issued identification card with photograph
·
History of good job
attendance
·
Must pass criminal background
check
START DATE

SALARY RANGE
:
Administrative Pay Grade 2

230 days/year
