QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold or be able to obtain NC Licensure (9-12), preferably in a core academic area. Experience in the development and coordination of support services for at-risk student populations preferred. Knowledge and experience in working with NCVPS, academic credit recovery programs, and tutoring services preferred. Also preferred: strong verbal and written interpersonal skills , ability to work with students from economically and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds, and students with disabilities , and ability to work a non-traditional school day schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual will work 11:45AM - 7:15PM. Individual will be responsible for enrolling & monitoring of students in distance learning courses; facilitate credit recovery options for students making up credit during Twilight School. Individual will be required to maintain close communication with administrators, grade level counselors, & data manager. Drop out, course failure & PEP data collection & compilation will be required. Schedule & facilitate PEP meetings for students as needed.
